We are going to start off this new blog with the crazy events of Thanksgiving.
I was so excited to have all of my family come out for Thanksgiving. We are all sort of seperated right now. My mom came on Saturday before Thanksgiving since she got the whole week off.
This was before Thanksgiving week. We went to a birthday party for a little 2 year old friend and the girls looked so cute! I had to get a picture!
This is Mike teaching her how to use her new phone. The same one Mike has.
On Sunday night, I felt a little off. I thought maybe I had eaten something my stomach didn't agree with or had eaten too many sweets or something. That night I was sick all during the night. I was throwing up and had a 24 hour flu bug. I thought it was just food poisoning.
Then on Monday when that was gone, I got a fun cold that I kept for the next week or so. On Wednesday, Emily seemed to come down with the same stomach bug and it was brutal to her. She didn't get rid of it until Sunday and was just so sad and tired the whole Thanksgiving week. This is her sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner after laying around most of the day. She couldn't keep even water down.
This is what she looked like most of the time. This girl does not nap and she slept a lot so we knew she really felt pretty crappy.
My dad and brother left from Utah on Tuesday night and drove to be here on Wednesday. My dad was really tired. He slept like this...
And like this...
And like this. He probably slept a few hours throughout the day.
Luckily Audrey (or Travis or Kelsey) didn't get the little bug we had. Trying to relax a little.
Kelsey trying to get Audrey to take a nap. We wore her out!
Audrey and Allyson got to play outside with grandma and grandpa.
Emily loves to play with Travis. This was a little later when she seemed to be doing much better. She was actually awake and playful.

On Friday morning we went to take pictures. Allyson slept until 8:30 when we had to wake her up to go. (That should have been our first clue) She was a good sport but this is what she looked like the rest of the day. She threw up twice in the car and some more at home. Poor girl.
On Saturday the girls just slept away most of the day. Mike got it Saturday night.
Mike's brother and his family were also down to visit his family and apparently everyone on his side got the same thing. We only saw them once that week but I heard it was really going around bad. Everyday we would hear of another one down at our house or theirs.
It was so not the Thanksgiving I was hoping for but I still loved seeing our family.
